Yoga therapy is a wonderful complement and support to other forms of healing. If you have suffered from anxiety or depression, you may have found that simply talking does not always bring a sense of relief. Our relationships, sleep, appetite, and energy are just a few of the things affected by our emotional history. In yoga therapy, we don’t need to verbally pinpoint or physically excavate traumatic experiences in order to find relief. We begin with cultivating a sense of safety within you. We see what grows and takes shape from there.

Yoga therapy, in my approach, blends the personalized guidance of a private yoga session with the introspective nature of talk therapy. We tailor our sessions to suit your needs, balancing dialogue and movement in order to meet your individual intentions with this work. To learn more about what to expect from a session, check out the Services page.

While physical relief may come along with our working together, it is not the aim of this work. One of the most common misconceptions is that yoga therapy is physical therapy. It is not, nor am I able to offer diagnoses.

Yes! I have worked with clients all over the U.S.

“What I appreciate the most are Beth's gentle prompts and the dialogue we share while I'm on the mat. Rather than distracting from my practice, our exchanges help me to stay present and feel supported. There is room for playfulness and laughter and tears. So much healing can happen in connection with others, and I experience that practicing yoga with Beth.”
