Yoga therapy
Sessions available in-person (Jamaica Plain office) or online (Zoom). Typically meetings are weekly or bi-weekly. See below for what to expect from a session.

1-on-1 yoga instruction
Available in-person (Jamaica Plain office) or online. All levels of experience welcome. We will work together to understand your personal goals and customize the right practice for you.
50 mins | $125 (sliding scale available; contact to inquire)
Group yoga instruction
Available in-person or online. Styles of yoga include: slow flow vinyasa, restorative, flow and restore, teen, prenatal, senior/chair, and gentle yoga with meditation. Check HERE for online class series being offered.

What to expect from a yoga therapy session
The flow and structure of yoga therapy sessions are unique to each client. However, we can expect to follow a rough template.
We typically begin with a verbal check-in to set an intention for your session. We then move from verbal processing towards connecting with your body. We find poses, usually just a few per session, that help deepen the connection to your intention.
(For those looking for more specifics: You may feel sadness as a heaviness in your chest. In this instance, I might offer options of poses to either open the chest, such as a supported fish pose, or curl into and protect the chest, such as a child’s pose.)
Throughout, I offer questions to help you reflect. Hands-on support, when welcome, is offered during in-person sessions as a way to help deepen the line of communication with your body.
The pace of all of this is based on what helps you feel most comfortable and safe.
As we conclude, we integrate what stands out for you from your session and how this connects to the bigger picture of your life. You choose how you wish to continue processing these connections outside of our session.
